Our journey

From a small circle of committed community members to a recognized institution running ten programs — this is the story of Yuvatha Trust.

Foundation

A Vision for Community Change

Yuvatha Educational and Charitable Trust was founded in Karakkunnath by a dedicated group of community members who saw unmet needs in education, social welfare, and cultural development. The Trust was officially registered and began its journey with a clear mission: serve the community with compassion, transparency, and moral grounding.

Early Years

Al Fitrah Preschool & SMART Launched

The Trust opened Al Fitrah Islamic Pre-School, offering a joyful child-friendly curriculum for children aged 3–6 that blends kindergarten education with Holy Quran learning. Alongside it, SMART — School of Moral and Religious Thoughts — was launched as a holiday school delivering religious and moral education using an updated CIER curriculum with multimedia support.

Expanding Welfare

Rahma Widow Care & Solace Medical Unit

Responding to urgent social needs, the Trust established Rahma Widow Care — providing monthly financial support, food, shelter, and healthcare assistance to widows and underprivileged women. The Solace Medical and Palliative Unit was also launched, extending home-based care, medical camps, and medicine distribution to bedridden patients and those requiring palliative support.

Growing Stronger

WINGS, AQSAA, Library & Green Shelter

The Trust expanded its reach significantly with the launch of WINGS for youth skill development, the Academy of Quran Studies and Acquisition (AQSAA), the Yuvatha Library & Information Centre, the Green Shelter environmental initiative, the Yuvatha Institute of Mentoring, and Focus Micro Finance — creating a comprehensive ecosystem of programs serving all age groups and community needs.

Today
